Residential Energy Audit Program
People's Cooperative Services is excited to offer members a low cost (or no cost) Residential Energy Audit Program through partnering with G.A. Ernst and Associates, Inc., a certified energy efficiency consulting service and solutions company. This program is designed to conduct a comprehensive energy audit to determine energy efficiency and comfort of a member's home. Click Here
Two types of energy audits are available:
Standard Energy Audit: $240: Members are eligible to receive up to 100% of the cost back through rebates, provided at least one recommended energy improvement is implemented. This audit includes:
- utility bill analysis
- thermal Envelope Inspection
- blower door diagnostics
- furnace efficiency / safety and worst case back draft spillage testing
Performance Energy Audit: $360:Members are eligible to receive a rebate for up to $250 of the audit cost if recommended energy improvements are implemented. This audit includes:
- All features of the standard energy audit plus infrared camera diagnostics
Following the energy audit, both you and the cooperative will receive a detailed report including the auditor's findings and recommendations for improvements.
