Evergreen® Renewable Energy Program
Evergreen is a renewable energy program offered through People's Cooperative Services that allows you to use green power for your electricity needs. If you are willing to pay a little bit more to purchase a portion or all of your electricity needs from renewable energy sources, then Evergreen is for you. Evergreen program is available to homes, farms, and businesses. In addition to your normal monthly electric bill, you volunteer to pay a small additional charge each month to offset the additional cost it takes to support renewable energy.
Evergreen renewable energy is supplied by wind and waste-to-energy sources such as landfill gas and livestock manure. If you wish to support green energy, you can purchase blocks of energy. Each block is 100 kilowatt-hours. The cost is an additional $1.50 per month in addition to your normal monthly electric bill. You must make a one-year commitment when signing up to participate. Contact People's Cooperative Services to sign up or to get additional information. More Info
