PAIIR Transportation Fair (Parents are Important In Rochester)

Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) is a voluntary public school program for all Minnesota families with children from birth to kindergarten. PAIIR has been in Rochester School district's ECFE program since 1974. PAIIR's mission is to strengthen families through the education and support of all parents. Classes are taught by licensed parent educators and early childhood teachers who work directly with parents. Classes are held morning, afternoon, and evenings.

PAIIR Transportation Fair Each year PAIIR holds a transportation fair in Rochester, MN. Various modes of transportation are on display with People's Cooperative Services displaying a bucket truck. Representatives from People's are available to describe the duties of a lineworker, the protective gear that is required, and answer questions.

Vehicles at the event include police cars, fire trucks, mail truck, speedboat, tractors, school bus, and the cooperative's bucket truck. There are displays available and professional men and women to give demonstrations and to explain how the equipment works and what it is used for.
